The food was excellent and the staff very nice and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms clean! We would love to come back

Good food and bed.

Food actually deserves 5 stars, very tasty and the price normal. There is a star deduction for the service - the service staff responsible "overheard" the further order for drinks (twice), which her colleague then took over, as well as the request for payment. There is an opportunity to improve here! The corona rules were only partially observed, as guests came in through the "beer garden entrance" without face masks !!

Very nice staff. Room ok. Only our room, (number 5), was above the kitchen and the cooling. The annoying hum of the cooling system all night! Breakfast absolutely OK.

Nideggen is a nice little place with a historical core. Interesting castle complex with a distant view. Small town not suitable for shopping but several galleries. Hotel Restaurant Ratskeller / Angus nice hotel family run. 5 days B&B, 2 DR as a family 2 + 2 (11 and 14) completely satisfied. Very hospitable. Breakfast was rich according to the standard, bread rolls were perfect. In the evenings a la carte German and Indian cuisine, top quality, the chefs understand their craft. Staff attentive, courteous and extremely friendly. We like to come back for a weekend for cycling, hiking or water sports. The Eifel has something for everyone. We visited the Rurstausee with 1.45h boat trip, Aachen Cathedral, Luettich and IP Vogelsang - everything is worth a trip. From us as a short trip around ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A very great restaurant with German and Indian cuisine. The service is nice and not intrusive. The price-performance ratio is acceptable and the garden is not too crowded, but there is plenty of choice. The hotel also got a recommendation, there is room for improvement, but it is very nicely decorated and meets all standards. Both a restaurant and a hotel are worth a visit.

Very nice staff, nicely furnished and clean rooms, very good kitchen with a great selection at fair prices. Excellent location, charming atmosphere. Would love to come back.

Very friendly staff, we were there for Christmas. The breakfast was quite sufficient, the cozy rooms are very clean, as was the bathroom. We felt very comfortable and familiar there. We didn't miss the restaurant, great, everything tasted perfect. A recommendation for anyone who wants to see the old town or hike in the city center. We will be back.

Oh well.. A really beautiful building .. From the outside .. With a really good kitchen .. And tasty variations of small and large culinary delights .. Especially the Indian touch gives the whole thing something special .. But that was it .. The hotel .. Well ... the room was very uncomfortable ... and the breakfast was only sufficient .. seems badly counted even if the rolls were from the local bakery ... a shame .. only three stars but there is room for improvement ..

Horrible experience. First of all, there are only 3 parking spots and if you're lucky 4. But that means: no parking spot. Next, the breakfast was so horrible we went somewhere else the next day even though we paid for it. Nothing was in the fridge or anything, the cheese meat and joghurt was just standing there! The coffee wasn't fresh and there were flies everywhere. Terrible and gross. Also not a lot of options, way to expensive. Next, the pillows are not pillows. If you do plan to stay here, bring your own. Also, the curtains let all the light through so you might want to bring a sleeping mask. Next, the room is not being cleaned! Next, there is laundry everywhere in the hallway! Disgusting. Also, it stinks in the hallway. And everything is greasy and oily because the air system isn't cleaned. Next, the people weren't there when we arrived so we had to call. They did not speak to us, just a few words. Not friendly at all (maybe only if you speak fluent German?). Also the 'free bottle of water in the room' is just a tiny bottle of SPARKLING water. What a joke. We hated the place and were happy to leave.
